Bradley Barcola has joined Liverpool on a long-term contract from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after the Italian club finished the transfer deal. The team from the English city of Liverpool confirmed the agreement on Monday but the club did not say how much was being paid for the player. The 23-year-old is believed to have inked a contract of some £120 million ($162 million) in five years in the British media.
Barcola said that he was “very happy” to have finally made the move and would now like to get to the pitch and start playing for his new club.
The forward joined PSG from his childhood club Lyon in 2023 and was soon a part of a very successful team. Barcola secured his first Champions League back-to-back titles in 2024-25 and 2025-26 in his two years in Paris, and also clinched three Ligue 1 championships and two French Cups.
Barcola was also part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup team which hails from Lyon’s academy. His quicker than light and dribbling skills have made him one of the most wanted young attackers in Europe.
Barcola played 152 games for PSG, putting 39 goals and 37 assists on display. But competition to seize the attacking machine grew stronger, with PSG’s squad featuring the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue and Ferran Torres.
This transfer will provide Liverpool with another attacking weapon as they aim to go for big trophies. Winning the Premier League is one of Barcola’s top career goals.
