Barcelona confirmed on Thursday that Raphael Dias Belloli, known as Raphinha, will stay at the club until June 30, 2028. Barcelona president Joan Laporta, first vice-president Rafa Yuste, sports director Anderson Luis de Souza (Deco), and other club officials witnessed Raphinha signing the new deal at the club’s office.
After Barcelona finished last season without a trophy, Hansi Flick took over as head coach and created an impression in Catalonia. Before his contract expired in June 2027, Raphinha joined Barcelona in 2022.
Raphinha called the contract extension a ‘truly fantastic reward’ and wants to stay at the club until the end. He said it’s rewarding to make fans happy.
I find this fulfilling and wonderful. It makes me happy, and my goal since here has been to make fans happy, Raphinha remarked.
“I told my family I want to stay until the end of my career. And I hope to try my best,” he said.
The winger has scored 34 goals and provided 25 assists in 56 games for Barcelona since joining. In three years at Barcelona, the 28-year-old has won two La Liga titles, two Spanish Super Cups, and a Copa del Rey.
