Harry Kane Leads Bayern Dominance

Harry Kane Bayern Munich once again turned out to be the game changer as the German giants swept Werder Bremen 3-0 in the Bundesliga. The win gave Bayern back its six-point lead on the top of the table and has sent a strong message to the title competitors.

Kane did not long delay in making his impression. Halfway through the first half the England captain scored on the penalty spot after being ruled a foul in the box by the VAR. It was cool, self-possessed and cold-blooded. Kane only struck again three minutes later. He fired this time a low shot, outside the area, which kissed the post and hit in.

That second goal was special. It was the 500th club and country goal of Kane in his senior career. An accomplishment that is seldom achieved by many players. Kane went on to refer to it as the pay-off of the years of hard work and commitment. He even gave an inkling that he is not over yet.

Bayern is in total control of the game. Through the occasional assertion of his resistance, Bremen never threatened in any real sense. Bayern stayed calm and collected after the break. The outcome was closed by Leon Goretzka in the 70 th minute through a well taken finish.

It created a minor worry when Manuel Neuer was replaced during the half-time with a calf problem. Nevertheless, Bayern officials denied that it was anything more than a precaution.

The numbers of Kane speak as he has scored 26 Bundesliga goals in only 22 matches. This is because he has achieved 41 goals in total competitions this season. What is even more important, he plays at the time when Bayern need him the most.
