At the end of the season, Ruben Amorim plans to bring Marcus Rashford back to Manchester United from Aston Villa.
Allegedly, Rashford no longer wants to play for United and is seeking a new deal after being shelved before his loan move. Amorim will decide his future. Rashford, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia, who are on loan at Real Betis and PSV Eindhoven, will return to the club, added Amorim.
“All the players that are on loan, they will return and then the club will decide what to do at the end of the season,” he added. “The talent of Rashford, the talent of Antony, all these players have talent and they have to put that on the team.”
“So we are really happy because if you put one player on loan, the best thing for us is for them to perform and they are performing,” he noted.
This season, Rashford has four goals and six assists in 17 Villa appearances. He made England’s squad due to his form.
United will play Bournemouth on Sunday in a critical Premier League match to rise in the table. Their Europa League semi-final opening leg is against Athletic Bilbao on Thursday.
Amorim said every game must be taken seriously: “We must win every game. Important to avoid loss.”
Yes, you understand. We’ll play the best team. Our players had a whole week to prepare, and several didn’t play against Wolves, so recovering is good. “I’ll prepare for this game and win the next,” he said.
