Bayern Star Musiala Set for Return After Injury

Jamal Musiala, an attacking midfielder for Bayern Munich, gave a very important update on his injury on Wednesday and hinted that he could be able to play again after the Club World Cup 2025 leg injury.

Musiala broke his fibula and dislocated his ankle during the FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final when he collided with Gianluigi Donnarumma, the then-goalkeeper for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), in July in Atlanta.

The 22-year-old German international is a vital player for the national team and would be a key player for the country’s ambitions of winning the 2026 World Cup.

Musiala told SportBild magazine that he didn’t want to rush things and would take the time he needed.

He didn’t say when, but he did say that he will be back in a competitive setting in 2025.

Musiala added, “The leg is getting better and healing as planned.”

“I don’t need crutches anymore, but I don’t want to rush things.” I will take the time I need.

“I don’t want to give a certain date. But because I’ve come so far, I want to be playing against Bayern in 2025.

Musiala, who scored 21 goals and set up eight more for Bayern last season as they won the Bundesliga title, has not blamed the Italian goalie for his injury. He said that injuries like this happen in sport.

He added that the first few weeks were hard for him, but there is no point in becoming upset about it.

“Mentally, the first several weeks were hard for me. “But you shouldn’t be mad all the time about it,” he replied.
