Mbappe Faces Real Madrid Backlash Over Behaviour

Mbappe Real Madrid tensions have reportedly intensified over Kylian Mbappe’s conduct away from the pitch, with concerns emerging inside the Spanish giants about the forward’s priorities and his approach to life at the club.

Some Real Madrid players are growing impatient with the France international’s actions following his injury in the first game of Nations League in Madrid, according to French sporting journal L’Équipe. The report indicates that there are those within the club who feel that Mbappe is playing for personal glory rather than for the team.

The 27-year-old has been a part of Real Madrid for over two years, but an anonymous source quoted by L’Équipe wondered if he has been fully acclimated to the club’s expectations and culture.

“He’s getting very bad advice and it’s a bad thing for him and the club,” the source is quoted as saying.

The criticism is reportedly aimed at Mbappe for bidding to win the Ballon d’Or, the prestigious individual trophy in football. The report continues that “some in the club believe that his personal agenda is being given too much priority over the club’s goals.

He has had a recent interview with France Football, which also hosts the Ballon d’Or, and it has further raised the hackles. But during the interview, Mbappe spoke about his chances of claiming the prize, stating that it is “a good year to win it.”

Some club officials have reportedly voiced concerns over how his comments may impact the image of the player and Real Madrid.

The claims are based on media reports and an anonymous source, however, and not an official disciplinary matter or confirmed rift between Mbappe and the club.
