Nottingham Forest Extends Nuno’s Contract to 2028

Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo signed a new deal until summer 2028, the club announced on Saturday.

Nuno joined Forest in December 2023 and led them to their greatest Premier League result in over 30 years, eighth in the 2024–25 season. Forest will compete in European competition for the first time since 1995–96, almost missing out on a Champions League position by placing fifth behind Newcastle United.

They will play in the UEFA Conference League playoffs later this year. Nuno won three Premier League Manager of the Month titles in 2024–25, demonstrating his successful return to English football.

After managing Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he led the team to the Premier League and European football, he briefly managed Tottenham Hotspur. Nuno was excited to continue on the club’s progress after signing his three-year contract.

“I am delighted to be able to continue our journey at this fantastic football club,” stated Nuno.

He stressed the link between players, fans, and the club.

“Our hard work to create a special bond between the players, fans, and everyone at the club helped us achieve great things last season. We must work more than ever to make more great memories together, he said.
